About Vanessa
As a queer second-generation Ecuadorian birth worker, I am called to protect marginalized people in a traumatic system.
I’ve spent most of my life in NYC and my mission is to bring my ancestral birth practices to this land.
Through intertwining evidence based care and ancestral knowledge I help empower my clients with the tools and support they need to navigate our racialized medical system towards a safe and transformative experience.

About Me at a Glance
About (cont’d)
This path is sacred to me—it is ceremony, it is reclamation, and it is resistance. I offer a grounded and heart-centered space for queer and trans families, as well as all who are seeking care that honors the body and spirit.
As a covid-conscious practitioner, I take every measure to ensure the safety and health of my clients and community while still offering embodied, hands-on support.
Whether you are preparing to give birth, healing after, tending to your womb, or simply seeking connection with your own medicine—
I am here to witness you in your magic and remind you: you are medicine.
